I recently tried every self hosted git server. I was set on seeing how Forgejo worked as it's the current fad. You have to update it SO often it is a first class PITA chore. The long term releases don't last for shit. Also the changelog for v13 was just spectacularly voluminous and full of shit entries. How could a project have this many entires of all types. The features section included 43 features but 7 of them were bug fixes they propagandized into "features".
